POWERING HIGH-DENSITY AI COMPUTE

REPURPOSING INDUSTRIAL POWER TO ACCELERATE AI DATA CENTER DEPLOYMENT

LIVEGRID acquires retired brownfield sites with active high-voltage substation ties, bypassing 4-7 year grid connection queues.

The opportunity

Why LIVEGRID

AI compute demand is severely outrunning utility transmission capacity. A critical 3-year window exists to capture this market transition.

01

We repurpose retired industrial sites with live power infrastructure.

02

We rapidly deploy modular 1.2 MW IT-capacity pods to 10.8MW to achieve RFS within 24 weeks.

03

We're scaling a repeatable six-campus model over a 5 year period.

04

We partner with gold-standard operators.

About us

LiveGrid AI Infrastructure Partners

The LIVEGRID AI INFRASTRUCTURE PARTNERS team brings together senior expertise in energy infrastructure construction, GPU optimisation, real estate and finance, to address a time-sensitive market opportunity: AI companies need power today, while new grid connections remain years away.

In major US markets, securing a new grid connection can take four years or more. Former steel mills and foundries across West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania already have live, high-voltage connections. LIVEGRID acquires these sites and converts them into 10 MW AI compute facilities within months and scales them to 50MW over the coming 3 years.

We believe the opportunity is concentrated in the next three years. As utilities work through connection queues and the market recognises the value of existing power infrastructure, connected industrial sites are likely to command higher prices. Capital deployed during this period can secure grid-connected capacity at industrial land valuations. [A $1M piece of land can easily hold a $2.9M annual income.]

Our team’s track record supports the pace and complexity of this strategy. Collectively, we have built a compute platform serving more than five million devices across 180 countries; developed 325 MW of utility-scale solar and managed a further 7GW. Our experience also includes upgrading substations up to 330 kV and delivering a power plant within 13 months of project award. Alongside these technical capabilities, we bring more than 20 years of property acquisition, financing and asset management experience, including backgrounds at Deutsche Bank and in private equity.

LIVEGRID has a partnership with gold-standard data centre operators whose experience spans more than 3 GW of compute capacity. These partnerships support operations that meet tenant and lender requirements from day one.

For the next 5 years, LIVEGRID AI INFRASTRUCTURE PARTNERS will apply this collective capability to a focused objective: converting grid-connected industrial sites into operational AI compute capacity while this market opportunity remains open.
